About this artwork
In my abstract acrylic paintings, I invite the play between light and mist. The soft, flowing shades of blue create a tranquil, almost dreamlike atmosphere that draws the viewer into a state of reflection and inner peace. I created this work to foster an environment of contemplation, and it brings a calming energy to any room in which it hangs.
I developed it using a technique I developed of washing out layers of paint applied on top of each other.… The layers are then washed out again successively until the picture convinces me aesthetically.
