Deze schildering weerspiegelt mijn innerlijke zoektocht naar balans tussen chaos en rust. Met acryl en bladgoud heb ik lagen van textuur en emotie opgebouwd, waar abstractie en impressionisme samenkomen. De fluisterende teksten voegen een persoonlijke, bijna poëtische dimensie toe. Dit werk brengt een kalmerende, diepzinnige energie in je ruimte, een uitnodiging om te reflecteren en te ontsnappen aan de dagelijkse drukte.
Het boek ‘Het Ontsnapte… Land’ van Geert Mak diende als inspiratiebron voor dit schilderij. In dit kunstwerk zijn veel handgeschreven teksten verwerkt. Het kunstwerk bevat veel tinten groen, blauw en grijs om het Nederlandse landschap te weerspiegelen in een abstracte of expressionistische wijze.
