About this artwork
I created this work slowly, building the surface day by day.
I collected fragments of free French newspapers found near the Paris metro and carefully layered them onto the canvas, allowing the collage to form a textured, living ground.
Over this dense structure, my handwritten lines emerge in contrast — intuitive, fluid gestures that gradually shape the image.
The work carries traces of time, repetition, and the quiet rhythm of everyday life, balancing… structure and spontaneity.
