I don’t create to make things perfect.
I create to make them alive.
I work with materials that have already lived another life. Ash, residue, fragments, and discarded matter become part of my process — transformed from one state of being into another. What remains after creation is never waste to me; it carries memory, fragility, and evidence of change.
Each piece I create exists as part of an ongoing cycle of transformation. Some works capture… only a single stage within that process, holding a moment suspended between growth and decay, presence and disappearance. I am drawn to the tension between life and the vulnerable space where one quietly becomes the other.
