About this artwork
It's paradise again, with sunsets and streams flowing into the Ocean. The lush green mountains of Hawaii were a inspiration for this painting. Ellen used these reoccurring images in her imaginary landscape series to express the varied symbols of escape, isolation, strength, beauty, romance and mystery, as the source of inspiration for her artwork.
