Distinct Differences explores the quiet balance between two contrasting presences. One reflects light with softness, the other absorbs it with quiet strength. They stand together without becoming alike, each preserving its own character while completing the silhouette of the other.
The piece is a reflection on individuality—not as separation, but… as coexistence. It suggests that harmony is not always born from similarity. Sometimes it grows from the willingness to let another remain fully themselves.
Hand-built in stoneware, the vessel embraces asymmetry, restrained glazing, and the dialogue between smooth and textured surfaces, where contrast becomes a language of respect rather than opposition.
