Dedicated to the meditational art of Ikebana. Emilia has always been drawn to this Japanese art that she intends to master one day. Until then she interprets it by painting. Enjoy this yellow-gray styled expression of sunshine!

Working with clay as both material and a partner, she creates forms that are intentionally irregular, allowing intuition, gravity, and chance to shape each piece. The process values presence over precision and acceptance over control. Irregular silhouettes, raw surfaces, and subtle distortions are essential elements of her work - qualities that reflect the transient nature of existence.
