This work, created using the personography technique I invented, recreates the face of the famous Hollywood star Audrey Hepburn using reworked images of her life, from her first work on a video for a Dutch airline, her early stage work, through her Oscar-winning performance in William Wyler's "Roman Holiday," which catapulted her to fame. It also covers all the films she starred in, not to mention her private life, her children, her love life, and… all the memorable photo shoots on the set of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and beyond, including her experience as a global ambassador. A true journey to rediscover this cinema icon who extolled a type of beauty that was androgynous and fun, elegant, and novel for the time. While working on this personography, I then decided to create one of Coco, for which Audrey was the face. I recently added resin to the work, in the hair, eyes, and other areas, giving it a textured feel.
