About this artwork
Transmutography, another technique I developed, in which I digitally transform the initial images and then add resin, was created for the "WARHOL" collection. The work depicts the actress Ingrid Bergman, beloved by Rossellini and much of Hollywood, a three-time Oscar winner who also drew criticism for her extramarital affair with Rossellini. So, using the three Warhol images I reworked, I wanted to depict her as herself, as a mysterious femme fatale…
(with a hat) from a frame from Casablanca, and as a nun in McCarey's 1945 film "The Bells of Mary." Ingrid's three faces are depicted, with resin applied only in select areas.

HE HAS PARTICIPATED IN SEVERAL GROUP EXHIBITIONS IN ROME, MILAN, BOLOGNA, VENICE, COPENHAGEN, VIENNA, LISBON, BUDAPEST, PARIS AND IN A SOLO EXHIBITION IN FAENZA, BOLOGNA, ROME AND HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR INTERNATIONAL AWARDS.
