About this artwork
In this piece, I captured a serene, untouched forest moment with analogue film to reveal nature’s quiet beauty. The soft, natural light filtering through leaves evokes peace and reflection. I wanted this to bring calm energy and a sense of escape into any space, inviting viewers to pause and breathe in the gentle embrace of the natural world.

Using film and digital sensors, Eric Chabot roots his artistic background in photography. He deftly experiments with color and black-white mediums to capture fleeting moments and details of unobserved shadows and highlights. His works voice a serene dance between simplicity and beauty, filling the viewer with an introspective aura.
A bachelor's degree in science, a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and CPP of PPA, Eric Chabot divides his time between his two passions, science and the art of taking pictures. Professional photographer for over two decades, he has published in various magazines, received the Fuji Film award and published a book where he presents us a collection of photographs.
