L’Essence du Vide s’inscrit dans la collection Fractures Fertiles, une série qui explore la manière dont les ruptures — physiques, visuelles ou symboliques — deviennent des espaces d’émergence plutôt que de disparition.
Dans cette œuvre, la composition est volontairement radicale. Une fleur blanche, isolée, apparaît dans un espace sombre presque entièrement vide. À l’opposé, une fracture traverse réellement le support : une forme découpée physiquement… dans le tableau, non imprimée, non simulée.
Cette crevasse n’est pas un effet visuel, mais un geste réel. Elle introduit une absence tangible, une faille dans la matière même de l’œuvre. Face à elle, la fleur ne cherche pas à combler le vide : elle existe simplement, dans une tension silencieuse entre présence et absence.
Par son langage minimaliste et contemplatif, cette pièce prolonge la réflexion de Fractures Fertiles sous une forme plus épurée, où la fragilité devient structure et le vide, un lieu de sens.

As a Franco-Belgian photographer, I create works at the intersection of abstraction, portraiture, and floral symbolism. Trained in filmmaking, visual arts, and horticultural science, I have developed a dual sensitivity: to the beauty of plants and to the depths of the human soul. The flower becomes a mirror, a sensitive language, and a fragile inner light.
