About this artwork
"Green Clouds" is a conceptual work by the artist, studying the use of silhouettes. The artist is inspired to make work surrounding the meeting of the external (physical) and internal (psychological) worlds. In this artwork the artist chooses to draw clouds in green tones, which is the only colour of which you will never naturally find a cloud.
This detailed drawing in coloured pencil is a highly meditative work both in its concentrated execution… by the artist, and its introspective perception by the viewer. The doubling of clouds onto each other gives us a sense of breathing in and out. It's airy presence serves as encouragement to take a gentle moment and release inner tension.

- Works on commission
Eric Sesto is an Australian artist, comfortable in traditional drawing and painting mediums stemming from a rural upbringing. He employs oil pastels and colored pencils for rapid idea testing, translating these into layered, formalized paintings with a post-impressionist undercurrent. Sesto's works, rife with symbols and motifs, oscillate between the visible and the invisible, offering a complex dialogue to viewers. His art dives deep into existential explorations, questioning the nature of human perspective and the constant need for regeneration, evoking a profound sense of introspection.
