Italian baroque painter of genius, Caravaggio (1571–1610), is a precursor of chiaroscuro. Non-conformist and innovative, his creations have earned him as many admirers as critics. In this work, I use watercolor and ink to explore a creation by Caravaggio. The minimalism of my horizontal bands associated with the expressionism of colors, captures with spontaneity the ephemeral emotions that pass through me. The different layers follow one another… like a breath which leads me to greater introspection. This creation on paper will give you a space of escape and tranquility. Information: The signature and title are on the back. The 325 g/m² paper is unalterable and acid-free. Made on a 32x24 cm sheet and mounted in a 40x30 cm white mat. This work can be framed in a frame (with coaster) of your choice. You can combine it with another creation from the series to make a set.
« The colors are the living notes, of the harmonious and generous melody that the artist offers to our eyes and to our souls. »
A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about real and imaginary landscapes, he has made them the heart of his creativity. His exploration of color and synthesis naturally led him to contemporary landscapes, while remaining highly demanding regarding the quality of his works. These resolutely abstract series, where contemplation and aesthetics occupy a central place. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he creates creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
