About this artwork
Here is a contemporary composition for which I used watercolor and warm-toned Indian ink. It is a creation around color in which I wanted to translate the emotions that certain paintings by Diego Vélasquez (1599–1660), a 17th century Spanish painter, arouse in me. A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about landscapes, both real and imagined, he has made them the heart of his creative work.
