About this artwork
All my photographic works have in one way or another a direct connection to music, based on my professional background as a symphonic musician and conductor. "Creating music with images" is a starting point I always have. But it doesn't stop there.
I consciously try to avoid writing individual stories about each image. Instead, I let the titles awaken your own free imagination and interpretation.
When the images are placed in a larger context, however,… such as in a book, a larger exhibition or at lectures, each individual image plays an important role in the context, like notes, harmonies and varying timbres in a symphony. Here you can find some more information about this:
