About this artwork
He did a drawing of a prayer with his camera in the long-exposure technical setting. He expressed the very impression of the prayer using his hand-gestural photographing skill which is allegedly pioneered by him. He uses his device as a brush or a knife just like painters, which means the break with traditional photographing methodology thereby creating the whole new genre of contemporary photography.
He was awarded 2019 IPA(Int’l Photography Award)… and 2019 Monovisions Award in the professional category of fine art for this work.

Eunman Huh is an award-winning South Korean photographer whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in China, Italy, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He selects colors and shapes, then mixes them using sophisticated hand gestures and camera work, creating abstract fine art photographic compositions. Huh often shakes his camera for gestural effects and never uses digital programs to manipulate his compositions.
