About this artwork
While working on this picture I thought of a friend who is going to build a chapel. He described it as "completely open above" - a space in which we stand on earth and feel the sky above.
In this work we see sparkling lights in the sky, fireworks over the whole city.
Playful arrangements of patterns and lines tempt to recognize the shadowy.
When viewed, the work invites you to carry the OPEN SPACE within you, to let go of ideas and to feel the… lightness.
Acrylic paints and markers on high quality canvas.
A matt varnish protects the work from the effects of light
The work is discreetly signed on the front and you will receive a signed certificate of authenticity.
There are two professionally embedded eyelets on the back and the sides of the stretcher frame are also painted so that the picture can be hung up immediately.
