About this artwork
Individual units: lines, shades, color impressions, light and dark form a psychological landscape. Similar to how physicists tried to explain the composition of the world by quanta. During the further development of quantum theory we came across the physical effect of the color:
"By light, electrons are released from metal surfaces, and the strange thing was that it does not depend on the brightness of the light, whether a current flows, as expected… from a wave, but by the color." (Website of the Max Planck Institute )
Energy moments that are subject to research (string theory) hold everything together. Physicists try to approximate the dimensions of the dimensions in which we are moving, which are difficult to understand for humans, in mass-related models. The artist with the help of his empirical, artistic tools: from perception to pencil.

Eva Galonska is a German abstract expressionist painter and a MA graduate from the University of the Arts in Berlin. Motivated by the work of artists like Münter, Macke and Kandinsky, Galonska is inspired by nature, technology and philosophy among other fields of study. Her works are bright, colorful images that attempt to bridge the gap between our conscious and sub-conscious realities.
