About this artwork
The only certainty is that I want to paint a horizontal format and use cool, wintry colors with a protagonist who has warm skin. I want to lose my balance in order to transform myself. The rest of the work will develop according to my mood.
A moment captured without immediate explanation: stretching forms, uncertain balance, and a gaze that seems to feel more than it sees. The icy blue vibrates like a mood, and the brushstrokes, reminiscent of naïve… expressionism and contemporary surrealism, reinforce the sense of inner movement. Small, pale petals float around, reminding us that even in disorder there is beauty. This work speaks of inner movement, of fragility and strength coexisting in the same instant.
