About this artwork
Geometric shapes mingle with bright colors, bold line and a mysteriously smiling character. Created during the extremely long pandemic to reflect our shared sense of isolation and frustration. Using color and line to take the viewer into another realm where time and space doesn't matter. At least for a little while.

« Being an artist is a risky business, it means baring my soul and being vulnerable. Yet, I find myself unable to stop. Art feeds my soul. »
Eva Hunter is an award-winning artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. She cites color and movement as being vital to her artistic practice. In addition, Hunter describes her works as attempting to "move beyond pain", conveying joy, fantasy, beauty, and humor. Her distinctive style fuses abstraction with impressionism and realism. She most often creates with acrylics, pastels, and ink on canvas, paper, or synthetic board.
