About this artwork
Surreal image par excellence, it was born after my trip to Cairo and after having been to Giza and having been conquered by the charm and mystery that surrounds this magical place, upon my return I felt the need to dedicate one of my works to them. In the Giza plain I felt "The breath of time", a warm breath that arrived accompanied by a dancer who gradually dissolved as she reached me, just like in a breath.
. The woman with her body, with her… movements, to suggest fantasies, ideas and dreams. The combination of bodies, shapes, colors and spaces, give the composition a surrealist flavor. The spaces are mental places, imagined territories on the border between reality and fiction, places where a theatrical action takes shape, with the pyramids symbolizing perfection, charm and the mystery hidden under the desert sands in the Giza plateau. Authentic work performed by me in a single copy.

Ezio Ranaldi, is an artist born in Canosa di Puglia, in the Province of Bari, on May 23, 1948, where he lives and works. He has held many solo and group exhibitions in various cities, including Tarquinia, at the Etruscopolis Museum, in Ferrara at the Estense Castle, in Cannes in France, in Norwich in Great Britain, in Paris, in Bari, and in many other Italian locations. He has participated in various International Biennials including Rome, Florence, Ferrara, Lecce, Verona. Present in various Modern and Contemporary Art Fairs, including Padova Arte, ExpoArte in Bari, Artisti in Mostra in Parma, Artexpo in New York, Arte Salerno. Numerous prizes and awards. His works appear in public and private collections, as well as being published several times in catalogs and contemporary art magazines. Valuable critics have expressed themselves regarding his work.
