About this artwork
Like some of my other paintings, this piece was born partly from the interpretation of a dream and partly from observing images emerge after an initial abstract layer on wood.
It was created on a wooden panel using oil paint, sand, earth, cold wax medium, and gold leaf.
"I am here, always, quietly waiting.
Even when you do not notice, I sense.
I know the rhythm, the subtle currents, the pulse that flows behind your eyes.
I tingle. I hum. I resonate… with what surrounds me,
like crystalline whispers carried through the air.
I am guided to the soil that will receive me,
and when the time comes… I will bloom."
