About this artwork
This mosaic is an explosion of energy and color, created with great passion. Each shining smalt is a single spark of vitality, forming a radiant light at the center. The mosaic is made of Venetian smalt, the classic glass mosaic material, which was glued directly onto an MDF board.
A special… feature of this mosaic material is that the incoming light is reflected on the rough surface of the smalt, giving the work a magical shine that varies depending on the time of day and year.
The MDF board can be sealed, allowing the work to be flush-mounted into the plaster of a wall, tile, or wooden floor. Depending on the installation, it is recommended to mount a shatter-proof glass panel over it.
