About this artwork
This work is the culmination of a rock crystal from a parallel universe. It is made of acrylic resin.
In another universe there is a galaxy where we find the planet of "Touvoitou".
This synthetic crystal comes from the depths of the volcanoes of this planet. On this planet there is no light or nuclear power plant. In its center the lava is green and luminescent.
At nightfall these colors change.
This slight luminescence allows the "Touvoitou"… to see, there is no sun just the cosmos.
It is placed on a base in extreme black sandstone.

« I am an artist who is explosively serene in my works and in my life, always in search of new techniques. »
Fanfan is a French sculptor who has exhibited her works in both France and China. She feels that since the past is no more, the future remains to be seen, and the present is already gone, she dreams and creates. The key themes present in Fanfan's compositions include the universe, lightness in space and through materials, as well as explosions of color. She employs resin, polymers, and pigments, and has recently begun incorporating ceramics for ecological reasons.
