When color meets canvas, at first glance it is the impulse of two media that create something new together. Using urban methods means, immersing yourself in the world of street art. Expressing art with markers and spray cans… is not just a stylistic device that is used. Rather, it captures the zeitgeist of a generation that had to struggle through the harshness of life. What began back then continues to develop, takes on different forms and, at its core, always speaks of the same thing. A rebellion against the fake, a fight against the norm. An outcry and an acquaintance. We are still here. And we fight for our right to be seen. Fatin Rahmouni is a painter, draftsman, and printmaker based in Germany whose works have been exhibited in Switzerland, Belgium, and England.
