About this artwork
Music has always been an inspiration in my visual work. The way in which a musician is amalgamated with his instrument, becoming a single piece in which at times it is practically indivisible is the root of the feeling that they come to emanate. For this reason, live music will never be the same as a recording, the exchange of energy that occurs between wood, metal, skin and sweat, is unrepeatable.

Felix Zilinskas is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States. A large part of his work is inspired by music, as he is also a musician. Zilinskas enjoys unraveling the messages in song lyrics to "squeeze them to the fullest" by investigating and developing their strangest parts. For example, one of his series was inspired by the characters in Beatles songs. His vibrant pieces are created with acrylics.
