This dream scene was significant for the artist who, until then, had never had a dream of clones.
The architectural decor made of brick buildings and sash windows echoes the streets of Brooklyn in the 70s and 80s. The clothes of the clones, the girls dressed in baby blue with Peter Pan collars could remind us of the scene of the appearance of the twins in “Shinning” by Stanley Kubrick.
The clones, walking one behind the other, seem tidy and obedient,… with no particular expression on their faces.
