Oil on canvas and marble dust, unique work
This painting was born from my summer memories of those suspended moments when I feel the water caress me, envelop me, seize me.
Time stands still, I experience an immense feeling of well-being, everything becomes clear.
I swim in the deep blue sea among the fish and starfish. I am aligned. All is calm and serene.
Technically, I worked with successive glazes to create this fluidity, this translucent… luminosity that can be seen underwater.
The shades of blue from the abyssal depths, of turquoise, and of foamy white suggesting the foam of the waves vibrated under my brushes, as much as I did in my aquatic environment.
"Aqua" is an invitation to dive in, to let yourself be enveloped in a timeless moment.
This creation was shaped in resonance with the soothing and meditative sounds of Ludovico Einaudi, whose delicate and profound melodies guided my gestures.
