From the crimson furnace to the golden blossom, I have woven the story of a soul in the making. At the heart of this intimate blaze, the whispered promise of a metamorphosis that only silence can understand.
The pigments dance like tamed flames, recounting… this suspended time where the being withdraws to better reinvent itself. Each touch is a vibration, each texture a beat of this universal heart that connects us to the invisible.
I wanted to paint this ephemeral sanctuary where our wildest light sleeps, this chrysalis of fire where dreams melt and are forged before daring to take flight.

Florence Penet is a French artist who creates abstract paintings characterized by a search for light through the interplay of chromatic contrast and harmony. Working primarily in oils, she often adds marble dust for an impasto effect and to structure her compositions. Her work is essentially spontaneous, her paintings taking shape as the layers of glaze are applied. In this intuitive way of creating, Florence's spirit and emotions take hold of and inhabit the space of the canvas.
