About this artwork
Antimatter invites us to reflect on the eternal as well as the transient and ephemeral ones. The cup - symbol of Christ and destiny, divides the work into registers, arranges the creative discourse hierarchically related to the verticality of aspirations. Everyone in the material world has a cup to understand or not the meaning of existence. The immaterial, the thought is expressed by the line. The discreet language, the fine calligraphy, do not… impose content on the viewer, but invite him to the retreat to discover his own identity.
« Painting is an expression of freedom, it is the way to be, it is the moment when time stops. »
Florina Breazu is a Moldovan painter with international exposure. Her paintings are abstract, sometimes including figurative elements, and deal with themes such as landscapes and space. Her paintings use complimentary color schemes and often play with the viewers sense of dimension.
