About this artwork
This work represents Beethoven's life. The circular keyboard illustrates the cycle of his life, slowly fading away as time passes, representing his deafness. The four legendary opening notes of the symphony are symbolized by the four staves in the corners of the work. The upper right corner represents the last note played, and the color red symbolizes the impact of fate. Finally, we see the wooden stick touching the keyboard, transmitting the vibrations…
