About this artwork
The centerpiece is the official photograph of Mozart's childhood violin. Two-thirds of the violin are brightly colored, representing Mozart's fiery spirit. The final third depicts the composition completed by his assistant Süßmayr after the master's death. The upper section is engraved with Mozart's signature "M," while the lower section bears Süßmayr's signature. The treble clef and time signature are reproductions from Mozart's original manuscript.…
