About this artwork
Sharpened shadows is a small abstract landscape painting that brings me in far away places full of light and warmth.
The surface is created with sand, coarse-grained gravel and paper. It's then painted with acrylic colors, metallic pigments and glossy varnish that emphasise copper and pale rose gold tones.
Size framed: 13.8 x 17.8 x 0.4 inches - 35 x 45.2 x 1cm.
Size unframed: 9.8"x13.8x0.2 inches - 25x35x0.5 cm.
The frame is made of black varnished… wood and has a black cardboard mount, as shown in the photo.
It's signed on the back by the author and is ready to hang.
Please note: The artwork is SOLD FRAMED.

Artist Statement:
My work explores the interplay between nature's elements and human resilience, drawing inspiration from clouds, ocean waves, and landscapes. These forms reflect life's challenges and transformations.
Through layered textures and organic shapes, I capture transitions where calm meets chaos, strength meets upheaval. My style combines soft tones with vibrant contrasts, highlighting the balance between adaptability and strength.
I invite viewers to connect with these abstract landscapes, celebrating our shared journey of growth and resilience. Influences include Zao Wou-Ki, Julie Mehretu, traditional Chinese ink painters, and architects like Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry.
