About this artwork
Inspiration for this painting came from the incredibly beautiful notes and musics of Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto.
I wanted to bring to this abstract dreamy landscape a sense of quiet enchantment, beauty and elegance. These hills in the clouds drive me to remember how fragile and precious are our planet and our freedom. And how much we should strive to protect them all.
This mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, pearlescent… pigments, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Its pigments shine depending on how the painting is hit by light. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 30x20x0.1" (76.2x50.8x0.3cm) on aluminum Dibond board. It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
