About this artwork
This abstract wall sculpture painting is inspired by the joy I feel when I see water springs hit by lights, their lively feelings of beauty and marvel.
The surface of this mixed media work is created with sand, coarse-grained gravel, small rocks and paper. It's then painted with acrylic colors, pearlescent pigments and glossy varnish that emphasise yellow and rosy gold tones.
Size unframed: 9.8x13.8x0.4 inches - 25x35x1 cm on canvassed board… (thickness is due to the stones). Size framed: 14.6x18.5x0.6 inches - 37x47.1x1.4 cm. Please note: The artwork is SOLD FRAMED, as shown in the photo in the carousel. It's signed on the back and is ready to hang.

Artist Statement:
My work explores the interplay between nature's elements and human resilience, drawing inspiration from clouds, ocean waves, and landscapes. These forms reflect life's challenges and transformations.
Through layered textures and organic shapes, I capture transitions where calm meets chaos, strength meets upheaval. My style combines soft tones with vibrant contrasts, highlighting the balance between adaptability and strength.
I invite viewers to connect with these abstract landscapes, celebrating our shared journey of growth and resilience. Influences include Zao Wou-Ki, Julie Mehretu, traditional Chinese ink painters, and architects like Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry.
