About this artwork
An emotional vortex in which identity dissolves and multiplies, reflecting the inner chaos of the contemporary being.
Layers of faces and moods through furious and vibrant features, as if the subject were caught in the very act of psychic disintegration. The bright tones, especially the reds on lips and cheeks, evoke an almost carnal urgency, while the blues and yellows cut the canvas like slashes of conflicting thoughts.
The style recalls abstract… expressionism, but with a more intimate, almost schizophrenic restlessness. The face is no longer a fixed point, but a battlefield between overlapping identities. The viewer is forced to seek coherence in incoherence, truth in a multiplicity of staggered glances.
It is a painting that does not ask to be understood but felt. Like a restless dream that haunts us upon awakening.
