About this artwork
"Glass Flowers" presents itself as a work suspended between the real and the imagined, a poetic interpretation that combines the delicacy of the material with the inexhaustible power of nature. Glass, fragile par excellence, becomes here a medium of tension: on the one hand, the precariousness of existence; on the other, the cyclical nature and resilience of the natural world, which transcends the ephemeral and constantly renews itself.
The artist… freezes the flower's vitality in a transparent and luminous form, crystallizing what in nature is destined to fade. Fragility thus becomes a metaphor for humanity, its transience and vulnerability, while the choice of a virtually eternal material contrasts this transience with the idea of time that does not consume.
