This piece began as an exercise in restraint. I wanted to work from the material itself, letting the earthy colors dominate the space, as if everything were emerging from a surface that still bears the imprint of its origin. Little by little, the gesture became freer: golds found their way between the layers, and blues appeared like a fresh crack, a reminder of inner movement.
The process was almost tactile, a construction based on erasures, where… each stroke seemed to both erase and reveal. I wasn't looking for a figure, but a rhythm; a sense of transition between the organic and the metallic, between calm and vibration.
In the end, the painting breathes in its own tension: it is a structure that stands on the edge of disorder, where color ceases to be background and becomes suspended energy.
