About this artwork
I used an analog image shot with a Rolleiflex 6x6 camera as my source photo, which I then processed into a mandala on the computer. Printing on an aluminum plate using the new ChromaLuxe technology has a modern look and is being appreciated and used by an increasing number of artists. This archival printing process creates lightfast, scratch-resistant, and waterproof art prints that last for over 65 years (tested by Wilhelm Imaging Research). Using…
dye-sublimation, the image is fused into the aluminum surface, allowing colorful and intense compositions to shine in a unique and unsurpassed way. Its reproduction undoubtedly recalls the undeniable qualities of the Cibachrome process of the 1980s. Thanks to an aluminum rail attached to the back, the work can be hung immediately; its distance from the wall makes it appear as if it is floating.
