About this artwork
The picture "Red Mountain Garden" is inspired by a landscape in the Australian outback. Radiant earthy tones of red, ocher and orange complement each other with the glowing energy of pink and blue. Diverse structures from nature and landscape can be found: bushes, trees, wild vegetation. The picture has an explosive energy and lives from the interplay of the most varied of structures.

« For me, a painting is a sensual interplay of structures, colors, and shapes, taking into account the materiality of canvas and painting medium. »
