About this artwork
The artist loves the emotions that art triggers. Depending on what experiences the viewer has had with events, images or colors, he reacts. It is the same with representational images. They signal to us at first - based on our experiences - whether something is positive or negative. The objectivity offers guard rails in order to be able to safely fall back on one's own experiences. Objectivity calms the viewer because he recognizes the object from… experience. Abstract asks questions. What's that supposed to mean? With the MONOCHROME cycle, the artist releases the viewer into his own emotional world, into the emotional world of colors. In addition, he partially built objects such as brushes, records or other everyday objects into the canvas. With this, MONOCHROM is broken open again and asks new questions, and confronts the viewer with his own world.
« My work on canvas should arouse feelings in the viewer. Then my work has achieved its goal. »
