About this artwork
Description: the queen in her beautiful pink dress and a large flowered hat, waves her hand to greet the British crowd. On a royal visit to Oxford, she leaves her Buckingham palace to take a walkabout. No longer very fresh but still alert, her flirtatious smile revives the crowds of English people who have come to see their queen in the pouring rain.
Genesis: A green and blue flesh, the skin is complex, in relief, with patterns and imperfections.… The queen, in a new light, is recognizable by her attitude and her pink dress.
Cotton canvas on wooden frame, 2 cm thick.
Contours and light brown edges (no need for framing). Acrylic and Posca markers.
The canvas is varnished.
It is signed on the front (bottom right). The title of the canvas as well as the official stamp are affixed to the back. It has a hook.
