About this artwork
"Fertile Fracture" unfolds an organic universe where dense greens—almost chlorophyllous—come into tension with deep, earthy, blood-red reds. The whole evokes a subterranean clash between the forces of growth and the forces of tearing. Nothing is stable here: the chromatic masses tear each other apart, interlock, and repel each other—as if the painting itself were mimicking the vital process of germination or decomposition.
GABAN doesn't describe… a landscape. He evokes what's at work beneath the surface: a geology of life, a clash of elements, a place where color becomes matter. The drips don't flee, they scrape. The stains don't float, they take root. It's a work of tension, but also of fertility—hence its title.
Red isn't decorative; it pulses like an artery. Green isn't soothing; it bristles, invades, and overflows. Between the two, there are voids, dark breathing spaces that allow the eye to circulate.

The CONVERGENCE period begins in 2025.
Each work becomes a field of tension between chaos and order, light and shadow, excess and erasure.
To reveal this plurality of voices, the Convergence period is structured around six conceptual series.
