About this artwork
When I was a student, I was already concerned with the topic of “animals and people”. Since then, I have been using aesthetic means to explore the relationship that can exist between humans and animals. The animals that appear most frequently in my work are fish and birds, but other animals, such as lizards, also have a place. When designing these animals, I am inspired by myths, fairy tales and also by nature itself. In addition to the observation…
of nature and the phenomenological penetration of the topic, there are also our own design ideas. The sculpted animals are always in close contact with the female sculptures and are therefore very close to these figures.
