About this artwork
Here is another in my Russian warrior series "Bogatyr 4". I like the pose on a crate, looks like they have had a hard life. I would assume that is the status quo for all Russians living for a brutal dictator, who kills without remorse. This is a original drawing on Arches Paper, 11 X 14, Charcoal, Sanguine, Watercolor, Graphite. Mounted on cardboard, unframed.

Gary Haddan is an artist based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally. Identifying himself as a spiritual painter, his artistic expression takes form through faith-based compositions, landscapes, ocean scapes, animal imagery, and cubist pieces. In addition, many of Haddan's spiritual pieces contain symbolic messages pertaining to death, the overcoming of evil, or environmental concerns. His style represents a fusion of varying influences that include abstract expressionism, cubism, modern art, and the figurative.
