About this artwork
Deserts provide dramatic and fascinating landscapes, and I felt that this one with its magnificent rocky and mountain backdrop was the perfect setting for a camel train. There are two main species of camel, the Dromedary with one hump and the Bactrian with two. The dromedary is the most common and the one used for human transport.
