About this artwork
In my artwork I develop the dynamics of light and the complexity of emotions through expressive oil paints. I capture the essence of urban pulsation and nighttime splendor semi-abstractly. This painting exudes life and will add an atmosphere of deep reflection and vibrant energy to your space. Each brush stroke is a dance of color and light, a visual poem that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a world full of feeling and movement.

« My pictures reflect impressions - scenes that are stored like photographs in my head, that I then try to realize in my paintings. »
Gerlinde Kosina is a committed Austrian painter whose works have featured in exhibitions and publications in Germany, Italy, Austria and the US. With oil painting as her preferred technique, she starts with chaotic stains and strokes that she then polishes with brushes, spatulas and her hands to arrive at a harmonious place. Her primary aim and theme is peace, brought to the forefront by her colours and compositions.
