london - a sounding name for me - london today has as many residents as austria where i live - it was in the year
50 AD founded by the romans as "londiniium". Even if you have never been to London like I have, you know a lot about this city. i associate a lot of theater with it - shakespeare - big ben - a symbol of time for me - mostly i paint
watches without hands - the tower bridge - the river thames - as a child the creepy fog stories and… at the same time the wish of a princess with a beautiful castle ... I painted this picture for an English woman who lives in America, but she then has the picture unclaimed....

Gerlinde Kosina is a committed Austrian painter whose works have featured in exhibitions and publications in Germany, Italy, Austria and the US. With oil painting as her preferred technique, she starts with chaotic stains and strokes that she then polishes with brushes, spatulas and her hands to arrive at a harmonious place.
