prague is a beautiful city - steeped in history - the old town has long been a UNESCO heritage site.
the nickname "golden city" refers to the sandstone towers, which shimmer in gold tones when exposed to sunlight.
now i have learned something myself, what i felt while painting - i always made it particularly bright.
Prague is not far from Vienna - that's why I was there when I was young - there weren't many tourists yet -
and quieter when… you step over the karlsbrücke .... one of the many moldau bridges ...

Gerlinde Kosina is a committed Austrian painter whose works have featured in exhibitions and publications in Germany, Italy, Austria and the US. With oil painting as her preferred technique, she starts with chaotic stains and strokes that she then polishes with brushes, spatulas and her hands to arrive at a harmonious place.
