About this artwork
This work created with mixed media on canvas (painting and collage) is a work dedicated to the great philosopher, mathematician, theologian, Pythagoras... who lived in Kroton (Colony of Magna Graecia in Calabria - Italy). Calabria, specifically, is represented by Riace bronzes.. famous and known throughout the world for their beauty and which enhance the glory of Magna Graecia.
Some symbols of the Pythagorean school are represented in the work,… such as the Pythagorean Theorem and the pentagonal star.
